The McCloud Group (TMG) is a Construction Management (CM) firm founded in 2002, specializing in the construction and renovation of K-12 educational, college university, municipal, cultural, residential, and healthcare construction projects for public sector governmental agencies. TMG serves as the owner’s representative and advocates through all phases of a project and under a variety of delivery methods. Active primarily in the Northeast Region, where the company was formed, TMG spent the last 22 years building a diverse project portfolio that includes work in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.
Job Summary:
TMG is seeking a proactive Office Engineer to join our growing team and work out of our corporate office in Jersey City, NJ. The Office Engineer is responsible for servicing the contracts for their specifically assigned clients, ensuring client needs are met and understood by each department in the company. They will be responsible for handling any client concerns, working to find solutions to any client issues and working with Project Managers to manage other departments to ensure clients are experiencing a positive client-company relationship.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Office Engineer should be flexible enough to handle a variety of duties that pertains to the firm and their assigned clients. Their main responsibility is to ensure the firm’s clients are happy, and specific daily duties include:
- Communicate with clients to ensure all their needs are understood and addressed Build strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new contracts
- Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all client requests
- Resolve complaints and keep track of all processes that pertain to the client’s needs Act as the client representative within the firm to ensure client demands are met with a focus on improving client experience
- Collect and analyze data concerning client behavior to understand changing needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Architecture/ Engineering
- 2 years Experience in the AEC industry preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Process-driven orientation Ability to quickly analyze potential issues and correctly identify solutions
- Highly organized with strong multi-tasking abilities
- Effective communication skills and engages heavily in collaborative group settings Self-Starter with strong initiative Willingness to travel to/from job sites
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year
