Where You Come In
Summit Stairs & Millwork Inc. is hiring Box Truck Drivers responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of stairs and millwork products to customers, ensuring timely and professional service. This position reports directly to the Shipping Manager.
What You’ll Do
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting vehicle maintenance issues and defects as needed.
• Comply with all Department of Transportation standards and regulations while maintaining a flawless driving record.
• Retain and submit all gas receipts for monthly audits.
• Load and unload products, verifying contents against work orders and shipping tickets. Report overages, shortages, or damage accurately.
• Email proof-of-delivery pictures of products to the Shipping Manager.
• Deliver orders on time and in good condition, building excellent customer relationships through professional and courteous service.
• Communicate customer needs and concerns promptly to the Shipping Manager.
What You Bring
• Valid driver’s license and a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to drive box trucks up to 20 feet.
• Proficiency in operating hand trucks, stairs, ramps, docks, and pallet jacks.
• Ability to move items weighing up to 200 lbs in a team setting.
• Physical capability to frequently climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
• Must have a cellular phone for GPS navigation and proof-of-delivery emails.
Pay & Schedule
• 18-20 an hour based on experience
• Monday through Friday with occasional overtime
