Duties
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure
- Manage multi-line phone systems, respond promptly to inquiries, and provide accurate information about hotel services and amenities
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts using hotel management software to ensure billing accuracy and financial integrity
- Prepare detailed shift reports, including incident logs, cash handling records, and occupancy summaries for management review
- Monitor security cameras and perform routine safety inspections of public areas to uphold hotel safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Handle guest requests, complaints, or special needs with professionalism and prompt resolution to enhance guest relations
- Maintain front desk area cleanliness, organize paperwork, and ensure all guest information is handled with confidentiality
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably with resort or hotel experience
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices
- Experience managing multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette in a busy hospitality environment
- Ability to work overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
- Previous experience in hospitality roles involving guest services, front desk operations, or night audit functions is preferred
