What You'll Do
- Direct the movement of arriving parties to maximize dining room momentum.
- Coordinate table availability with servers, bartenders, and leadership to maintain a steady service cadence.
- Navigate reservation platforms, walk-in traffic, and changing guest volumes with confidence.
- Communicate accurate timing expectations while creating a welcoming first interaction.
- Observe floor activity and anticipate bottlenecks before they impact service.
- Support special seating requests whenever operationally possible.
- Answer incoming calls, assist with takeout inquiries, and relay guest questions efficiently.
- Help maintain an inviting entrance, lobby, and front-of-house presentation throughout each shift.
- Jump in wherever needed to keep the guest experience running smoothly.
