Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
- Train, supervise, and develop bar staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Implement effective cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food preparation and service for bar patrons.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and safety protocols.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests while promoting a positive team environment.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the bar operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or bar management within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Background in fine dining or casual dining environments preferred.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production is advantageous.
- Ability to manage inventory effectively and implement cost-control measures.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in shift management and supervising teams.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
