Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food preparation and serving
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and restaurant policies to answer guest questions confidently
- Foster positive guest relations by providing personalized service and addressing any concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights; experience in nightlife or hospitality is a plus
- Hospitality background with experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles, or food industry positions is advantageous
