The Loop is a family-owned neighborhood restaurant that has been serving Manitou Springs for over 50 years. We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and confident Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests and help set the tone for every visit.
As a Host/Hostess at The Loop, you are the first impression and a key part of the guest experience. This role requires strong communication, awareness of the dining room, and the ability to stay calm and welcoming in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview
The Host/Hostess manages guest arrivals, seating flow, and communication between the front door and the service team. This role helps control pacing, supports the dining room, and ensures guests feel welcomed, acknowledged, and cared for from the moment they walk in.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all guests promptly and warmly
- Manage seating and waitlists to support smooth service flow
- Maintain and update handwritten reservation and wait calendars
- Communicate clearly with servers, bussers, and shift leads
- Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating as needed
- Assist with guest questions and basic needs
- Support bussing, resetting tables, and general FOH cleanliness when needed
- Uphold The Loop’s hospitality and service standards at all times
