Host/Hostess Job Description
Location: The Lodge of Four Seasons
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Host/Hostess to join our team at our restaurant in Lake Ozark. The Host/Hostess will be responsible for greeting guests, seating them at tables, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Answer any questions guests may have about the menu or restaurant
- Take reservations and manage the waitlist
- Ensure the dining area is clean and presentable at all times
- Assist servers with any tasks as needed
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
