We are seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented Project Engineer/Designer specializing in window and door façade systems to join Adler Windows—NYC’s premier window installer. This role is essential to the engineering, detailing, and successful delivery of custom residential and commercial window replacement projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed shop drawings for windows, doors, and façade interfaces based on plans, project specifications, field measurements, and existing conditions. Project Engineer
- Produce 2D/3D CAD drawings, installation details, and technical documentation to support accurate fabrication and installation.
- Participate in design reviews with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to ensure alignment with design intent and constructability requirements.
- Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and field reports to create code-compliant installation details and interface solutions.
Technical & Field Support
- Provide technical guidance to installation teams by supplying clear drawings, details, and installation sequences. Project Engineer
- Respond to RFIs, design-related inquiries, and field challenges through timely drawing revisions and problem-solving.
- Assist in ensuring that fabrication and installation follow approved shop drawings and meet quality and code standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field (preferred). Project Engineer
- 5 years of experience in the window/door façade or glazing industry. Project Engineer
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and architectural drafting methodologies. Project Engineer
- Strong understanding of:

Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
