About Us:
The Lighthouse Inn at Aransas Bay is a beautiful waterfront hotel and restaurant offering guests a relaxing coastal experience with warm hospitality, great food, and scenic bay views. We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and service-oriented Bartender/Server to join our team and help create a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and company standards.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar and dining area.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate tabs.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow TABC regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Set up and close down bar area, restock supplies, and maintain inventory
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a bartender and/or server preferred.
- Current TABC and Food Handler certifications required (or ability to obtain).
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
