What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender and Server position at The Roo Pub Rockport?
We are looking for friendly, dependable, and hard-working bartenders and servers to join our team. Ideal candidates should have great customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced bar/restaurant environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests and providing excellent service
- Taking food and drink orders accurately
- Preparing and serving drinks, if applying for bartender
- Running food and maintaining clean tables
- Handling payments and closing out tabs
- Keeping the bar, dining area, and workstations clean
- Working as a team during busy shifts
- Following all alcohol service and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous bar or restaurant experience preferred, but not required
- TABC and Food Handler certification preferred or must be willing to obtain
