BOH Team Member - The Leroy

Job Overview:

We are seeking hardworking and dedicated BOH team members to join our kitchen crew. As a BOH team member, you will play a vital role in preparing and executing high-quality meals while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation and ensure that all ingredients are prepped and ready for cooking.
• Cook and assemble dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
• Ensure food is stored properly and in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring all kitchen tools and equipment are sanitized and well-maintained.
• Follow health and safety standards, including proper food handling, cleaning, and storage.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and report when supplies are running low.
• Help to receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Clean kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and other items as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other BOH team members to ensure a smooth kitchen operation.
• Adhere to all kitchen policies and procedures, including portion control, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot, noisy environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Food Handler Certification or any relevant kitchen certifications.
• Experience with food prep, cooking, and cleaning in a professional kitchen.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and how to maintain it.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Long hours on your feet, sometimes in hot and noisy conditions.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required.
