Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development, early education, and social skills.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement.
- Foster a nurturing environment that supports children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding each child's progress and daily activities.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic caregiving tasks for infants and toddlers to support their growth milestones.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool settings, or as a nanny or babysitter.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Certification in first aid and CPR to respond confidently to emergencies.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued.
- Excellent classroom management skills to create a structured yet flexible learning environment.
