We are seeking an energetic and passionate Prepper Teacher to join our team! In this role, you will develop engaging curricula, manage classroom activities, and foster a nurturing environment for children. Your creativity and dedication will help inspire young learners while supporting their developmental milestones through innovative teaching methods.
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to early childhood development standards
- Create a vibrant classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and active participation
- Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques
- Facilitate engaging activities including arts, crafts, storytelling, theater, dancing, ballet, photography, sewing, cooking, and culinary projects
- Support children’s social-emotional growth through childcare best practices and early childhood education principles
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements and classroom management strategies
- Document student progress and communicate effectively with parents about developmental milestones and classroom activities
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in preschool or early childhood settings
- Strong background in curriculum development across diverse subjects such as theater, dancing, sewing, cooking, and photography
- Proven skills in classroom management and behavior guidance for children of various ages
- Experience in tutoring or working with students requiring special education accommodations is a plus
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education best practices
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate arts, movement, culinary arts, and other creative activities
- Experience working with both children and adults in educational settings is highly desirable
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
