Location: The Learning Experience – East Brunswick, NJ

Pay: $17-$18 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time, Monday–Friday (12:00 PM – 6:00 PM)

Afternoon Teacher – Closing Shift Classroom Support

The Learning Experience – East Brunswick is seeking a Part-Time Afternoon Teacher to support classrooms during afternoon routines and dismissal transitions. This role helps ensure a smooth, safe, and organized end-of-day experience for children, staff, and families.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with multiple age groups while supporting classroom coverage later in the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Support classrooms serving infants through preschool-aged children
• Assist with afternoon activities, playground supervision, and transitions
• Help maintain a clean and organized learning environment
• Provide ratio coverage across classrooms as needed
• Communicate professionally with families during pickup time
• Follow all New Jersey licensing and safety requirements
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Prior childcare experience preferred
• Comfortable supporting multiple age groups
• Reliable and team-oriented
