Key Responsibilities
- Lead a classroom of 2-year-olds in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment
- Plan and implement activities aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Support language development, motor skills, and social-emotional growth
- Guide daily routines including meals, toileting, transitions, and rest time
- Supervise assistant teachers and maintain classroom ratios
- Communicate regularly with families regarding daily updates and progress
- Maintain classroom organization and follow Maryland licensing requirements
- Infant/Toddler and Preschool Teacher qualification required under Maryland licensing
- High school diploma or higher required
- Experience leading a toddler classroom preferred
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- CPR and First Aid preferred
- Must meet Maryland childcare licensing and background requirements
