Responsibilities
- Lead a 2½–3 year old classroom in a safe, structured setting
- Implement early pre-preschool learning experiences aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Support language development, social interaction, and classroom independence
- Guide toileting routines and daily transitions
- Maintain organized classroom structure and expectations
- Communicate regularly with families about progress and routines
- Support assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency
- Follow Virginia licensing and safety standards
- High school diploma required
- Childcare or preschool classroom experience required
- Experience with children ages 2–3 strongly preferred
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
