As a Paralegal, you will be tasked with a variety of duties to support our lead lawyer. You will perform a range of administrative tasks including client contact and outreach, data filing and organization, and case management and preparation. You will also support our Lawyer with such legal tasks as drafting legal forms and motions, assembling evidence, and filing legal documents. You will also help our lawyers prepare for client meetings, trials, and hearings.
Legal Assistant Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with new and existing Client intake, scheduling, and engagement
- Manage the Firm’s calendar and adhere to case deadlines
- Learn and use innovative technology for organizing and managing the data and documents collected throughout a case.
- Draft legal forms, motions, and prepare evidence for filing in court
Legal Assistant Skills and Qualifications
- College Diploma
- Familiarity with court procedures and protocols
- Computer literacy and satisfactory knowledge of daily operations of a legal office
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
