Job Description

UBA Law Firm is seeking an Immigration Attorney with at least 3 years of experience in family-based immigration and related humanitarian immigration matters. The successful candidate will prepare and review immigration filings, represent clients at interviews, supervise paralegal work, and ensure that cases meet all applicable USCIS and court deadlines.

Responsibilities

· Represent clients at Adjustment of Status, Stokes, and I-751 interviews, as applicable.

· Analyze, prepare, and review immigration submissions, including U Visas, T Visas, Adjustment of Status applications, VAWA petitions, and family-based immigrant petitions.

· Monitor cases and ensure all internal and external USCIS and Immigration Court deadlines are met.

· Review and supervise weekly and monthly paralegal assignments and monitor case progress.

· Communicate with clients regarding case status, required documentation, and next steps.

· Review supporting evidence and legal documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

· Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies and provide high-quality client service.

Qualifications & Skills

· At least 3 years of family immigration law experience.

· Active membership in a State Bar; New York Bar membership preferred.

· Strong knowledge of family-based immigration processes and related applications.

· Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

· Ability to manage multiple cases, supervise assignments, and meet strict deadlines.

· Bilingual in English and Spanish, Urdu, or Bengali preferred.
