The Kulka Group is seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Coordinator to join our growing team.
This role is critical to the success of our projects and operations. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates exceptionally well, and has the ability to keep track of many moving pieces at once without things slipping through the cracks.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, technology savvy, and takes ownership of their work. This position will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Subcontractors, Clients, and Executive Leadership to help ensure projects are running efficiently and organized from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Maintain project organization and documentation across multiple active projects
- Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, insurance certificates, and closeout items
- Coordinate meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items
- Assist Project Managers and field teams with day-to-day project coordination
- Maintain project logs and ensure information is updated accurately and timely
- Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients
- Help ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
- Organize digital files and manage project management software platforms
- Support procurement and material tracking efforts
- Assist with project closeout documentation and turnover packages
Qualifications
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality
- Commercial construction experience is preferred but not required depending on experience level
