Position Overview
The Building Maintenance Tech is responsible for basic to advanced repairs and maintenance. Ensuring a high-quality experience for members and guests, this role includes electrical work, paint, and necessary repairs for The Kinn building to function. The ideal candidate is a strong individual with a high attention to detail, ability to troubleshoot and work in an environment where a passion for hospitality, exceptional customer service, and ability to create a welcoming and inspiring environment is desired. This position will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Onsite Operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness of The Kinn
- Be involved in team meetings to provide updates, resolve issues, and encourage collaboration with onsite operations manager(s).
- Maintain the organization and upkeep of coworking spaces, meeting rooms, event areas, and communal spaces.
- Develop and implement systems to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with maintenance and cleaning teams to resolve any facility-related issues.
- Ensure the morning and evening building checklists are completed to a high standard whenever you are on site.
Key Objectives
- Repair, paint, or improve any and all facility issues as directed
- Ensure all operations and building management systems meet the highest standards, on par with any high-end membership club.
Requirements
- 1 years of experience in hospitality management, operations, facilities, or a related field.
- Strong team skills with the ability to motivate and inspire oneself and staff.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with power tools, crafting with wood, plastics, and other building materials.
- Experience with AC/DC current, and building electrical standards
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more
- Ability to climb ladders and high access spaces
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety and OHSA protocols, and sanitation regulations.
- Passion for creating an inviting and seamless experience.
