We are working exclusively with a growing multi-site organization to place a detail-oriented, service-minded Accounting Specialist on their accounting team. This is a high-volume, fast-paced opportunity that's a great fit for someone who takes pride in accuracy, thrives in a busy environment, and genuinely enjoys collaborating with people across a business.
What the role involves
- Processing and approving a high volume of invoices and bills across multiple locations
- Managing employee expense reports and corporate credit card reconciliations
- Handling employee reimbursements and day-to-day accounts payable activity
- Acting as a resource for internal teams with accounting questions
- Supporting the accounting manager with month-end tasks and operational reporting
What our client is looking for
- A solid grasp of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, general ledger fundamentals)
- A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred, but not required for the right candidate
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
- A collaborative, humble, and service-oriented mindset β this role partners closely with non-accounting staff
- Comfort learning new systems; prior NetSuite experience is a plus but not expected
- Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) is helpful
