Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to meet health standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and supporting cooks during busy service times.
- Support bussing efforts by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing stations and kitchen areas through regular cleaning routines.
- Help with catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with event logistics.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items for service.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail in cleaning and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Basic knowledge of food handling safety regulations.
- Experience or familiarity with food service or restaurant operations is a plus.
