Our client is currently seeking a Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist

Schedule: Day Shift | 40 Hours/Week, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer to join its Radiology team in Shreveport, Louisiana. This position will support the High-Risk OB Clinic, making Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) experience a required qualification.

The ideal candidate is ARDMS-certified, highly skilled in OB/GYN ultrasound imaging, and passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Conduct high-quality imaging exams and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Assist physicians and radiologists during ultrasound-guided procedures.
• Educate and communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures.
• Accurately document and utilize radiology information systems.
• Maintain equipment, complete quality control procedures, and support department operations.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety and privacy.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of Ultrasound/Sonographer experience
• Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) experience required
• Current ARDMS Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
