Senior Director of Manufacturing
A $3 Billion Manufacturing Company that produces industrial rubber products for the OEM Markets, Automotive (tier 1), Construction, Agriculture, Heavy Equipment, Oil/Gas, Data Center, Material Handling, etc. markets is seeking a Sr. Director of Manufacturing to lead operations for 5 manufacturing locations across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. This position is responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory across these locations with 5 direct reports and 1,500 indirect responsible for $750 Million P&L.
Location : Remote 65% travel. Ideally located near an airport.
Compensation : $235,000 - $275,000 25% bonus Equity (LTIP)
Job Description
This role requires a senior leader to oversee and optimize all aspects of the division manufacturing operations and integrated supply chain across 5 manufacturing/assembly sites divided across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Operational Leadership & Performance
Manage the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual operating plan to ensure execution across all manufacturing/assembly sites and the integrated supply chain in the US and Mexico.
Achieve targets for Safety, Cost, Delivery, Quality, and Inventory across all US, Canada, and Mexico facilities.
Drive sustainable and predictable weekly, monthly, and quarterly output and revenue.
Plan, organize, execute, and monitor plant output to meet customer shipment, cost, quality, and revenue goals. This includes resolving issues to maintain smooth work flow, driving product quality improvements, and coordinating with materials and process engineering.
Monitor the performance of all operations within the department to identify and implement opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.
Develop plans and oversee all production aspects, including equipment purchases, staffing needs, work schedules, and material requirements.
Utilize the principles of the Lean Six Sigma Program & Company Production System to produce product that meets or exceeds company and customer's expectations for quality and cost.
Strategy & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Develop trust and alignment with the commercial team to profitably grow the business.
Evaluate and determine key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent.
Successfully communicate execution and results to senior executives and business unit personnel.
Perform work without significant direction, providing leadership on future manufacturing direction and continually improving organizational policies in the manufacturing area.
Demonstrate the ability to effectively engage and function within a matrixed team environment, including Finance, Commercial, Engineering, HR, and Marketing.
Advanced knowledge and implementation of lean manufacturing systems, processes, products, and customers.
Demonstrate knowledge of establishing milestones and strong implementation (execution skills), including meeting commitments, prioritizing, scheduling, planning, anticipating obstacles, and managing risks.
Possess strong business and financial acumen.

Qualifications Seeking
Bachelor’s Degree Required. Master’s Degree or MBA is a plus.
15 Years of Manufacturing Leadership experience in complex environments.
Proven track record managing a multiple manufacturing facilities with 750 employees.
P&L oversight of $250 Million revenue.
Leadership across Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, EHS, Finance, Warehousing/Distribution, and Continuous Improvement.
Deployment of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, TPM programs.
Experience with complex manufacturing operations/processes - rubber, plastic, metal, chemicals, electronics, etc.
