The School Psychologist provides comprehensive psychological services in alignment with district policies and procedures. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations for special education eligibility, delivering counseling services, completing functional behavior assessments, providing academic and behavioral interventions, responding to crises, preparing professional reports, completing Medicaid documentation, and facilitating meetings to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from a NASP‑ or APA‑approved School Psychology program
- Active state license in the applicable state(s) of practice
- Strong interpersonal skills, professional judgment, and ability to collaborate effectively
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations in accordance with Federal/State regulations and district procedures.
- Prepare clear, accurate written documentation, including evaluation reports, legal documents, behavior plans, correspondence, and Medicaid billing.
- Communicate professionally and effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Support the development and implementation of general education interventions and individualized education programs (IEPs) to ensure students receive a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure timely, high‑quality evaluations and services.
- Coordinate with community agencies—including medical, mental health, and social services—to identify appropriate interventions for student needs.
- Maintain complete and compliant documentation of all services as required by district policies.
- Complete all billing requirements in accordance with district procedures.
- Apply current research, theory, and case law to guide decision‑making and service delivery.
- Provide supervision and direction to district personnel (e.g., paraprofessionals, interns) in accordance with State/Federal regulations and organizational policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
