Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Travel, Nights)

North Austin Medical Center – 13‑Week Contract Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Total Gross Pay: $2,140/week

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery to join the team at North Austin Medical Center for a 13‑week travel assignment. This role supports a high‑volume, Level IV L&D unit delivering exceptional, family‑centered care. You will work alongside a collaborative team of RNs, charge nurses, and OB specialists to provide safe, evidence‑based maternal and neonatal care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, STABLE
• Clinical competencies:
• Sterile vaginal exams (SVE)
• Electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)
• C‑section circulation
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent L&D nursing experience
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Internal fetal monitor placement competency
• Previous HCA facility experience
• Experience in a Level IV, high‑volume L&D unit

• Spontaneous vaginal deliveries (SVD)
• Cerclage procedures
• C‑sections
• TOLAC/VBAC support
