What We’re Looking ForQualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred).
• Deep functional expertise in merchandising strategy, pricing, assortment, space planning, and vendor management.
• Proven experience redesigning merchandising processes and operating models, including exposure to change management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and executive communication skills.
• Deep grocery merchandising experience required; experience in general merchandise and discretionary categories is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with merchandise financial planning and AI‑enabled merchandising solutions preferred.
• Willingness to travel as required.
  
  

Experience

• 15 years in retail, with significant experience in merchandising strategy, operations, and transformation (in‑house retail experience strongly preferred; consulting experience valued).
• Hands‑on leadership of key merchandising levers such as assortment planning, pricing, allocation, vendor management, and category strategy.
• Demonstrated success leading transformation or large‑scale change initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Experience building and leading high‑performing teams.
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership, budgeting, and forecasting.
