About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Engineering Advisor I, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software products. You will partner closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to define and execute quality strategies, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle. This position requires a strong background in test automation, performance testing, and Agile delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end quality assurance activities for complex software applications and platforms.
- Define, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to establish and maintain high-quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
- Drive the adoption of QA best practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Mentor and support junior QA engineers, fostering technical growth and adherence to quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes, efficiency, and product quality.
- Analyze test results and provide clear recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support Agile teams by actively participating in sprint planning, refinement, testing, and release activities.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a related field.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and automation testing.
- 3 years of experience in performance and load testing.
- 3 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Equivalent combination of education, professional experience, and/or military service may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with industry-standard automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
- Familiarity with security testing concepts and practices.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Certification in software testing or quality assurance disciplines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional, fast-paced technology environments.
