Job Summary

Schedule
- Full-time school day schedule
- 30-minute unpaid break
- Opportunities available at Elementary, Middle, and High School levels (preferences will be considered)
- Provide instructional support to students individually or in small groups in areas such as academic skills, communication, motor development, self-help, and behavior regulation
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed by teachers and behavioral staff
- Support students with daily living activities, including feeding, toileting, hygiene, positioning, and mobility
- Monitor and respond to student health needs and ensure a safe learning environment
- Help manage and reinforce positive student behavior using established intervention strategies
- Assist with physical support needs, including lifting, positioning, and use of adaptive/orthopedic equipment
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other educational professionals
- Support students in developing social skills and engaging in classroom and group activities
- Maintain accurate records related to student progress as needed
- Participate in training and professional development related to instructional and medical supports
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to assist with personal care and physical support of students
- Ability to obtain required clearances (or have them prior to start)
