About the Role
As an Azure Network Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and maintaining Azure networking solutions to drive performance, scalability, resiliency, and security for our cloud infrastructure. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, architecture, cloud operations, and security teams to deliver first-class solutions that power our most business-critical platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation: Architect, implement, and maintain core networking components, including virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups within Azure.
- Hybrid Connectivity: Develop and manage secure connectivity solutions between on-premises and Azure environments using VPN, ExpressRoute, and related services.
- Application Delivery: Configure and operate load balancers, application gateways, and traffic managers to ensure optimal application performance and availability.
- Private Access: Deploy private and service endpoints to enforce secure access to Azure services.
- Network Security: Implement industry-leading network security practices—manage firewalls and network security groups and monitor for vulnerabilities and risks.
- Operations & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor and support the network environment; identify, troubleshoot, and resolve connectivity and security issues.
- Collaboration: Partner with solution architects, cloud administrators, security engineers, application developers, and DevOps to deliver seamless infrastructure solutions.
- Automation: Drive automation initiatives for network configuration, monitoring, and management using scripting or infrastructure-as-code tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting Azure network infrastructure.
- Proven expertise with virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, VPNs, ExpressRoute, load balancers, and application gateways.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and cloud security best practices.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting network, firewall, and connectivity issues in hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with Windows Server administration and automation/scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, or similar certification.
- Experience working with large-scale, mission-critical cloud environments.
- Working knowledge of automation, monitoring, and DevOps practices as they relate to network operations.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architecture, security, and software engineering.
Salary : $80 - $85
