Job Title: Inventory Control & Order Verification Specialist (3PL Warehouse)
Department: Operations / Warehouse
Reports To: Warehouse Manager / Operations Supervisor
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control & Order Verification Specialist to support outbound operations in a fast-paced 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) warehouse environment. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, preparing inventory for outbound orders, and verifying shipments prior to dispatch to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Create, allocate, and stage inventory for outbound customer orders
Verify picked orders for accuracy, including SKU, quantity, lot/serial numbers, and packaging requirements
Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
Ensure all outbound shipments meet client-specific requirements and SLAs
Maintain accurate inventory records within the WMS (Warehouse Management System)
Communicate with warehouse, customer service, and operations teams to resolve issues quickly
Assist with labeling, packaging, and documentation for outbound shipments
Follow all safety procedures and warehouse best practices
Maintain a clean and organized work area
