Position Overview

The Estimator & Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in supporting project planning, cost analysis, and operational efficiency. This hybrid position is responsible for preparing accurate estimates, coordinating material procurement, and managing logistics to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and highly organized, with strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple teams.

Estimating

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Gather and evaluate quotes from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop detailed cost breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, and timelines.
• Maintain and update pricing databases, cost histories, and estimating tools.
• Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to refine proposals and budgets.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and value‑engineering options.
• Prepare bid packages and assist in the submission of competitive proposals.
  
  

Logistics Coordination

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate the movement of materials, equipment, and deliveries.
• Track shipments, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely procurement.
• Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and logistics documentation.
• Optimize transportation routes and delivery schedules to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
• Support warehouse operations and assist with inventory audits as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in estimating, logistics coordination, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes, procurement, and vendor management.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or project documents (industry‑specific).
