What You’ll Lead
- Oversee all buying, supplier service, shrinkage, and obsolete inventory
- Lead and develop a team of 3 Category Managers and 5-7 Buyers
- Own the KPIs that define customer experience: Service Fill Rate
- Build a standardized category management platform
- Strengthen supplier partnerships and drive accountability
- Improve forecasting, purchasing discipline, and inbound reliability
- Integrate procurement strategy with operations, finance, and sales
- Implement policies, processes, and systems that elevate performance
- Reduce waste, improve turns, and protect margin

- 6 years in procurement/purchasing within the foodservice distribution industry required
- 3 years in a people leadership role (Can be a Manager or Director)
- Deep knowledge of integrated procurement inventory systems
- Proven success in improving service, fill rate, shrink, and obsolete inventory
- High School Diploma required (Associate/Bachelor’s preferred)
- CPP certification highly desired
