Location: Goshen (Town), NY

Salary: $31.00 USD Hourly - $31.50 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician for they facility located in Orange county NY. We’re looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our overnight team. If you’re a dependable technician who takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently—and you prefer the quiet, focused pace of third shift—this is a strong fit for you. A Class A CDL is required for this position. What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks, trailers, and related equipment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
• Troubleshoot engine, transmission, electrical, and brake systems
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
• Safely move equipment in and out of the shop using your Class A CDL
• Collaborate with the team to ensure all units are road‑ready by morning
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Class A CDL (required)
• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy‑duty technician
• Strong understanding of diagnostic tools and repair procedures
• Ability to work independently on third shift
