Title: A&P Mechanic III
Pay: $40/hr. (Benefits on discounted rates)
Contract: 1 year (Contract to Hire)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic III to perform advanced maintenance, inspections, repairs, and replacements on aircraft systems and components. This role ensures that all mechanical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with FAA regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and replacement of aircraft airframe and powerplant components.
- Conduct functional and diagnostic tests using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Interpret and apply technical schematics, blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and publications.
- Ensure all work meets applicable national and international aviation safety standards.
- Document maintenance actions accurately in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the hangar or workshop environment.
- Demonstrate advanced expertise in at least one area:
- Airframe maintenance
- Powerplant mechanics
- A&P combined component systems
- Follow all safety protocols when working with hazardous materials, chemicals, loud noise, and outdoor elements.
- Perform duties that may involve operating or supervising heavy equipment and aviation‑related machinery.
Required Qualifications
- Active, current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification with no prior FAA violations.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Must have personal tools in good working condition.
- Reliable transportation to and from work locations.
- Ability to pass and maintain Class 3 Physical, including vision and hearing requirements.
- Strong ability to interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and maintenance documentation.
- Advanced skills in repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting aircraft systems and engines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in FAA repair stations or Quality Assurance roles.
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).
- Background in Aerospace & Defense, DoD, or U.S. Military aviation.
- Ability to work different shifts, overtime, and weekends.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (if needed).
Physical / Environmental Requirements
- Frequent walking, standing, climbing stairs, and repetitive hand/arm motion.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to differentiate colors, depth, and close/distance vision.
