Powerbase Energy is seeking a Local Project Manager to lead community-based home electrification and energy efficiency projects. This role combines project management, contractor coordination, and resident engagement to deliver upgrades—such as heat pumps, induction stoves, and weatherization—that improve comfort, safety, and affordability for low- and moderate-income households.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate scheduling, installation, and tracking of residential upgrade projects
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents from enrollment through completion
- Organize outreach events and assist residents with program applications and documentation
- Manage contractors and ensure timely, high-quality project execution
- Monitor timelines, budgets, and compliance with rebate programs
- Provide regular updates and support a positive customer experience
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in project management, community outreach, or related fields
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Reliable transportation for local travel
Preferred
- Experience with energy efficiency, electrification, or housing programs
- Background working with underserved communities
