We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to support the design, analysis, and certification of advanced products and systems across a diverse portfolio. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies, including mission-critical payloads, electronic systems, integrated ground and air vehicles, and space exploration platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, analysis, and validation of structural components and systems for aerospace, defense, and advanced technology applications
- Perform static and dynamic structural analyses using engineering calculations and CAE/FEA tools
- Assist with product development activities throughout the full engineering lifecycle, including concept development, testing, certification, and production support
- Prepare technical documentation, analysis reports, and engineering substantiation packages
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including mechanical, systems, manufacturing, and test engineers
- Evaluate metallic and composite structures for strength, durability, and structural integrity
- Support material selection, hardware evaluation, and manufacturing process reviews
- Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 0–2 years of relevant engineering experience, including internships or co-op experience
- Basic understanding of structural analysis, mechanics, and engineering fundamentals
- Exposure to CAE/FEA tools such as ANSYS, FEMAP, Nastran, or similar software
- Familiarity with static and/or dynamic analysis concepts
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship or ability to obtain required security clearance if applicable
