Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Professional Lines Broker/Engineered Property Broker to join a dynamic team. This role is pivotal in underwriting and brokering non-cap property accounts with an average premium of $150,000 across the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineered property underwriting and professional lines, with a focus on production and client relationship management.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 (commensurate with experience)
  
  

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and broker non-cap property accounts with a focus on middle-market retail brokerages.
• Manage accounts with an average premium of $150,000.
• Quote new and renewal business, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet production goals and deliver exceptional service.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements.
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• Experience: 4 years of experience in engineered property underwriting and professional lines (2-4 years may be considered for exceptional candidates).
• Education: Relevant licensure/designations preferred but not mandatory.
• Skills:
• Strong underwriting and brokering expertise.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software systems.
• Location: Must reside in the Pittsburgh Metro area.
