Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with commercial insurance clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing support throughout the policy lifecycle
- Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms, secure coverage, and optimize policy pricing
- Stay informed of market trends and industry changes to effectively advise clients and enhance business development opportunities
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client service delivery and satisfaction
- Assist in the preparation of quotes, proposal presentations, and contract negotiations
- Analyze policy coverage and identify areas for potential upsell or cross-sell opportunities
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to junior team members as needed
- Previous independent agency/broker experience is required
- 2-3 years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and regulations
- Team player with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
- Solid understanding of underwriting processes and risk analysis
- A proven track record of consistent job tenure in previous roles is required
