Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $70,000 - $140,000 annually

- Evaluate and underwrite middle market commercial insurance risks, with a focus on workers' compensation and other commercial lines.
- Analyze and interpret state and NCCI workers' compensation manuals, guidelines, rating elements, and competitive landscapes.
- Develop and maintain loss-sensitive rating programs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure underwriting decisions align with company goals and risk appetite.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, brokers, and other stakeholders.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel and other tools to analyze data and make informed underwriting decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of workers' compensation or commercial line underwriting experience.
- Strong preference for candidates with commercial underwriting experience.
- In-depth knowledge of state and NCCI workers' compensation manuals, guidelines, and rating elements.
- Experience with loss-sensitive rating programs.
- Professional certifications such as CPCU, ARM, CIC, or similar are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills required.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
