Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Surety Senior Account Manager to join a team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, fostering strong in-office relationships while maintaining flexibility. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of contract surety bonds and a proven track record of managing accounts with minimal oversight.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000 annually bonus opportunities
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available
• Work Environment: Hybrid schedule (2-3 days in-office per week, alternating weekly)
• Training: 90 days onsite training provided

Responsibilities

• Maintain successful client and underwriter relationships.
• Manage the renewal cycle and servicing of client accounts.
• Analyze documents for surety requirements, risk exposures, and obligations.
• Issue various types of bonds, including bid bonds, performance bonds, payment bonds, and license bonds.
• Review and process bond riders.
• Report, open, manage, and close claims.
• Utilize online surety programs and company portals.
• Accurately bill invoices in a timely manner.
• Perform various account management tasks as assigned.
• Demonstrate proficiency with software tools such as Applied Epic, Microsoft Office, and Adobe.
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in contract surety bonds.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied Epic software is essential.
• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, and a positive attitude.
• Education: Relevant educational background preferred.
