Seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, foster strong client relationships, and ensure seamless communication between clients, carriers, and internal teams. Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for assigned commercial lines accounts, addressing client inquiries and providing tailored insurance solutions.
• Administer daily servicing of commercial accounts, including policy changes, billing, claims assistance, coverage reviews, and renewal preparation.
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with commercial clients to align services with their insurance needs and business goals.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers to secure favorable terms and coverage options for client portfolios.
• Identify and resolve coverage gaps, provide risk management recommendations, and ensure clients have suitable protection.
• Facilitate onboarding and policy reviews for new clients to ensure accuracy and comprehensive coverage.
• Maintain accurate records and detailed documentation in the agency management system.
• Stay informed about industry trends, carrier updates, and compliance for informed client recommendations.
• Participate in meetings, training, and professional development activities in alignment with department goals.
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or in a similar insurance industry role.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and industry-specific risks.
• Strong customer service and communication skills for relationship-building with varied groups of individuals.
• Proficiency in agency management systems and applicable software.
• Analytical and organizational proficiency with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team-oriented environment.
