The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of middle-market accounts, focusing on renewals and providing exceptional service to the valued clients. This position offers a hybrid work schedule after a 90-day training period, allowing for a balance of in-office and remote work.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package with employer contributions
- Paid Time Off (PTO):
- 4 hours per month in the first year, increasing to 20 days annually after the first anniversary
- 8 hours annually for charity work
- Work Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Paid for 40 hours per week
- Work Environment: Hybrid schedule after 90-day training period, with in-office work required on Wednesdays and alternating schedules for the rest of the week
- Manage a portfolio of middle-market commercial accounts, primarily in the hospitality sector (e.g., hotels, restaurants)
- Handle the entire renewal process, including marketing renewal accounts
- Collaborate with the marketing department for new accounts
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Utilize Epic software for account management
- Assist with certificates of insurance as needed (supported by a third-party service)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required; company supports and funds professional designations such as CIC, CISR, and CPCU
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role preferred; candidates with strong potential and relevant experience as an assistant will also be considered
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software is preferred
