Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in managing middle-market accounts, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service. The successful candidate will work in-office for the first six months, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $65,000 - $95,000 annually, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of business valued at $2 million with a focus on middle-market accounts.
• Handle renewals (90%) and assist producers with new business marketing (10%).
• Process Certificates of Insurance (COI), endorsements, and other policy-related tasks.
• Collaborate with producers to market new business opportunities.
• Utilize the Epic software system for account management.
• Coordinate with Patra for outsourced administrative tasks.
• Ensure timely and accurate service delivery to clients.
• Resolve conflicts and manage high-stress situations effectively.
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Designations: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role; experience with Epic software is preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with construction or generalist accounts in the middle-market segment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in quoting, renewals, and marketing insurance policies.
• Soft Skills: Timeliness, personable demeanor, conflict resolution, and ability to thrive under pressure.
• Education: Relevant educational background or equivalent professional experience.
