Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Assess client needs and provide recommendations for coverage solutions to meet their business requirements.
- Prepare and review insurance policy renewals, endorsements, and certificates of insurance to ensure accuracy and proper coverage.
- Act as a liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams to handle policy changes, claims, and other service-related matters.
- Develop and implement strategies to retain existing clients and expand offerings through cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
- Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and recommendations.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and business development initiatives as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in the agency management system to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
- Proven experience in commercial lines account management, account executive, or a related insurance role.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and industry practices.
- Current and valid Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Demonstrated skills in client management, relationship building, and communication.
- Superior organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in agency management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
