Lead Manufacturing Quality Inspector

Are you a hands-on quality professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys leading a team? We are seeking a Lead Manufacturing Quality Inspector to oversee daily inspection activities, support production quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a collaborative manufacturing setting.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring products meet company standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements while helping foster a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do:
✔ Lead and coordinate daily activities of quality inspection personnel
✔ Perform and verify incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and finished products
✔ Review inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation for accuracy and completeness
✔ Ensure products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
✔ Identify, document, and escalate non-conforming materials or processes
✔ Train and mentor quality inspectors on inspection methods, procedures, and measuring equipment
✔ Partner with production, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve quality concerns
✔ Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
✔ Maintain calibration and proper use of inspection and measurement equipment
What We’re Looking For:
✅ 3–5 years of manufacturing quality inspection experience
✅ Previous leadership, mentoring, or team lead experience preferred
✅ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
✅ Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM equipment preferred
✅ Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar standards is a plus
✅ Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
✅ Experience supporting root cause analysis and corrective action processes
Bonus Experience:
• Knowledge of calibration audits and compliance requirements
• Experience with advanced inspection tools including Faro arm, optical comparator, visual systems, gauges, and precision measurement equipment
• Experience creating receiving and manufacturing inspections in 1Factory software
