Product Owner

In this role, you will be responsible for translating business needs into actionable development work, owning the product backlog, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software that meets internal and customer needs. You will work closely with engineering teams and collaborate with Product Management to ensure that product development aligns with strategic priorities and delivers measurable value. 

Product Owner Job Responsibilities:

1. Partner with Product Management, customers, and internal stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, translating business needs into clear, actionable product backlog items (PBIs). 

1. Collaborate with Product Management to align backlog priorities with overall product strategy and roadmap. 

1. Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development.  

1. Prioritize backlog items based on business value, customer impact, and guidance from Product Management. 

1. Lead backlog grooming and refinement sessions with engineering teams.  

1. Work closely with engineering during sprint planning and execution to ensure clarity and successful delivery. 

1. Serve as the primary point of contact for the scrum team, providing direction, clarifications, and acceptance decisions. 

1. Validate that completed work aligns with acceptance criteria and supports intended product outcomes. 

1. Ensure alignment between delivered functionality and business objectives defined in partnership with Product Management. 

1. Support release planning and execution in coordination with Product Management and engineering. 

Qualifications:​​​​​​

1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.  
2. Experience working in a highly functioning Agile environment. 
3. Proven ability to manage and prioritize a product backlog effectively.  
4. Experience writing detailed PBIs and acceptance criteria.  
5. Hands-on experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.  
6. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.  
7. Passion for solving business problems through technology.  
8. 3 years of experience as a Product Owner.  

Preferred Qualifications: 

1. Experience in logistics, fulfillment, or warehouse management systems.  
2. Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
