About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a newly created, onsite position. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial records while driving key accounting processes across the organization. The Senior Accountant will own month-end close activities, perform detailed financial analysis, and support budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly and year-end general ledger close processes, including preparation of related reports
- Prepare and review balance sheet and income statement reconciliations and journal entries
- Analyze financial results and research and explain variance analyses
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements to management
- Maintain fixed asset records, including capital requests and depreciation schedules
- Assist with annual budget preparation, forecasting, and labor studies
- Support revenue recognition, accounts receivable, and accounts payable as needed
- Validate and manage customer exemption certificates
- Administer the H.S.A. Bank account
- Assist with year-end audits, including schedules and supporting documentation
- Handle customer web portal setup and Motus administration
- Help maintain the general ledger in compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Assist in strengthening internal controls and accounting procedures
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams
- Participate in ERP system implementations, upgrades, and other special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Proven experience with month-end and year-end close processes
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting ERP systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Manufacturing, Construction, or Distribution environments preferred
