The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations while collaborating with team members and leaders across the organization. This role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical abilities, and strong communication and problem‑solving skills. This is an in‑office position.
- Collaborate closely with the accounting team and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing procedures, including preparation, review, and completion of required financial tasks.
- Prepare daily and weekly financial and operational reports.
- Process payroll and accounts payable for assigned departments or divisions.
- Support internal and external audit activities by gathering documentation and responding to requests.
- Manage intercompany transactions as applicable.
- Utilize accounting software and operational management platforms, including QuickBooks.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
- Must work in‑office; remote work is not available for this role.
- Experience with QuickBooks is required.
- Three to five years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and related functions).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
